An Australian contemporary dance academy held a panel discussion in which the relationship between the body and architecture. exploring the connection the physical space has with bodily gestures created through the act of dance.
"What are the similarities between dance and architecture? How does each engage the human body and spatial construction?"



Osaka's Skyline
Spatial Bodies, by AUJIK, challenges the geometric perspectives on architecture through digital manipulation to create organic forms. these forms symbolise roots, trees, interweaving and creating a sense of movement. They tried to portray architecture as a living organism.

I used photoshop and played around with layers and opacity to create immersive, ethereal collage that captures the body and its relationship with environment. I also layered the watercolour on top - exploring texture further.
